Thornhill Manor

Thornhill Manor is situated on 18 hectares within a fully secured landscaped garden village on the historical site of Modderfontein. It is close to many amenities, such as shops, post office, garage, sports and golf clubs as well as beautiful nature reserves and walks.

The Village is characterised by a sense of tranquillity complemented by its landscaped gardens and beautiful water features. It comprises 112 two and 101 three bedroom cottages, all with single or double garages. All cottages are north facing and have two bathrooms. The kitchens are fully equipped with ample cupboard space. Provision has been made for a dishwasher, washing machine and refrigerator/freezer. The units are carpeted with under floor heating in the lounge and dining room. They also have telephone sockets and a connection to a central DSTV satellite dish.

The units are available for purchase on a life rights basis to persons aged 65 years and over.

Frail care is available at The Ron Smith Care Centre, a mere 5 km’s away.

Thornhill Manor Cottages

Each cottage consists of 2 or 3 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, lounge/dining room, roofed terrace, enclosed drying yard and a single or double lock-up garage. The 2 bedroom cottages are 99 m2 and the 3 bedroom ones 124 m2. excluding garage and patio.

Waiting list

Interested persons can place their names on the waiting list by paying a small refundable deposit. This deposit will also secure a place on the waiting list of any other Rand Aid facility, should this be requested
